Exposed: the New Toyota Supra Imagined without Road Camo

When it comes to motorsports, Toyota has always had the Toyota Supra to show off the brand’s horsepower-inclined side. Toyota is currently working on a newly-redesigned Toyota Supra for 2019, and while the vehicle is in the prototype stages, all we’ve seen of the vehicle itself has been shrouded in road camouflage. The sharp angles and shapes in the paint along with the wide range of colors on the exterior make it very difficult to discern any definite shapes in the vehicle’s body, to keep things surprising for the vehicle’s grand reveal.

However, that’s not stopping Toyota sports car enthusiasts. As reported in CarScoops, a member of the Supra MKV forums took it upon themselves to strip away the camo and provide fellow forum members and Toyota lovers with a first glimpse of the second-gen Toyota Supra, using seven different production colors currently used by Toyota, and a stand-out purple thrown in for good measure.

Of course, the response in the forums was quite positive, and seeing it for ourselves, we can’t be more excited to see what it will look like when it’s officially revealed. With a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine capable of delivering 340 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of under five seconds, the colors are sure to be a pretty streak as we fly by.
